League Rules
Below are the league settings and rules for the BMFL. Most of these rules are not set in stone, so if you have any suggestions, just drop a line to [email protected].
Game Version:
All player must have the most updated version of Madden 2001. Right now that version is 1.2 (the version after the second patch).
League Settings:
- Name: BMFL
- Number of Teams: 31
- Draft Timer: 3 minutes (up for debate)
- Fantasy Draft: Off
- Coach Changes: On
- Salary Cap: On
- Trade Deadline: On (Week 6)
- Include Career Stats: On
- Clear Yearly Stats: Off
Game Settings:
- Quarter Length: 8 minutes
- Skill Level: Pro (the Pro level is where player ratings are the most realistic, placing the emphasis on not only playing well, but fielding a competitive team).
- Player Momentum: Normal
- Coach Cam: Off
- Passing Mode: Normal
- Coach Mode: Off
- Injuries: On
- Fatigue: On
- Fatigue Subs: On
- Play Notification: Off
- Play Clock: On
- Accel Clock: Off
